What is Epilfree Hair Removal?

Epilfree is part of a comprehensive and innovative permanent hair reduction treatment. It is revolutionary as it can treat any hair type (including blond, red, and grey that are not treatable with laser/ IPL) with no side effects or sun tanning restrictions.

This durable hair removal technique uses a 3 step application. First, we remove the hair from the treated area using a specific wax made for sensitive skin that doesn’t leave any residue within the hair follicles.  Then, we apply the Epilfree lotions, made with natural and synthetic extracts that coat the inside of the follicle to inhibit hair growth. Lastly, we massage the area until the product is completely penetrated into the skin.

Is the Epilfree hair removal technique painful?

The Epilfree in itself is completely painless. The only pain that will be experienced is from the waxing or threading treatment itself.

How do I prepare my skin for the treatment?

Before starting the treatment, you will always be asked to come for a free consultation to determine if you are a candidate for the treatment.  Once you start the treatment, it is of utmost importance to not have ANY product at all on the area of the treatment 24h before the treatment. This includes make up, creams, deodorant, etc.

Will I need special care after the treatment?

As after any waxing or threading treatment, you may experience little red bumps on the area that should go away within 48h. With Epilfree treatments, you have to avoid any water or product on the area for 6h. This includes shower, bath, swimming, sweating, rain, deodorant, cream or makeup.

Are There Any Side Effects?

There have been no side effects observed related to the usage of Epilfree. However, the hair removal treatments prior to applying Epilfree might cause irritation and redness, particularly on individuals with thick hair or particularly those who have their hair removal done for the first time.
